How to choose a wedding dress cut for your figure

There is no perfect cut for everyone - there is the one that suits you. Here is a guide by body type.
Hourglass
A defined waist is your strong card. Emphasise it: the mermaid silhouette, fit and flare, a close cut with the accent at the waist.
Pear (hips wider than shoulders)
The task is to balance the top and the bottom. The A-line works beautifully: it conceals the hips gently and lengthens the figure. The accent can go to the shoulders - an open neckline, voluminous detail on the bodice.
Rectangle
We create curves. A corset, draping and a full skirt help - anything that draws a waist. Full and semi-full silhouettes look their best.
Apple (the accent around the stomach)
Choose flowing fabrics and a raised waist (the empire silhouette), which conceal the middle gently and open up the legs and shoulders.
Fuller figures
What works is not camouflage but good construction: dense fabrics, a well-thought-out corset, vertical lines. Made-to-measure work wins particularly here - the dress is built exactly to your measurements, with none of the compromises of a ready-made size range.
The main rule
The cut is chosen for you, not for the fashion. At a consultation we look at your figure in person, show silhouettes from the collection and tell you honestly what will suit you.
A good dress does not remake you to fit the cut - it brings out what is already there.
