Sihaya

Sihaya is built on one shoulder: a panel runs diagonally across the chest, and the corset beneath it is drawn in with fine lengthwise gathers that hold the waistline and make it distinct. From the waist the fabric rises and spreads in large loops - it stands on its own, so the volume does not sink but holds around the figure as a light mass. In motion these loops roll, and the light travels over them in waves: the crests of the folds flare almost white, the depths fall into warm shadow. The skirt is wide but not heavy, and your stride stays free beneath it.

The draping is gathered by hand: every fold on the bodice is laid and secured separately, and the volumes of the skirt are formed with loops and catches, so the pattern differs on each side. The shoulder band crosses the back diagonally and ends at the neckline - the back is open wide and the line of the shoulder blades stays in view. Behind, the skirt continues into a train that lays itself along the floor in soft waves and carries the silhouette in wide shots and from behind.

The dress is at home where there is air and daylight: an outdoor ceremony, a venue by the water, dinner on a terrace. We make it to your measurements - the corset is fitted to your figure so the gathers lie evenly and the bodice holds without support; the height of the shoulder line, the depth of the open back and the lengths of hem and train are set for your height and heels. The shade is chosen from cool white to warm ivory.
